“Fun with CLing” Invitation
July 10th, 2009CLing, a new media platform jointly created by omy.sg and Business China will be launched on 18 July 2009 (Saturday) at 230pm at Dragonfly, St James Power Station by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
CLing is a web portal which exposes young Singaporeans to contemporary China and to support their learning of Chinese language in fun and interesting ways.
Prime Minister Lee will also be invited to take the CLing Challenge where questions related to Chinese language and modern China will be posted to him. He will also be invited to share briefly on his own learning of Chinese.
In conjunction with the launch, a Youth Forum featuring 4 well-known personalities in the local music industry, namely producer Billy Koh, lyricist Xiao Han and the multi-talented Lee Si Song and singer Tan Diya will be held. They will speak on the topic “Beyond the Little Red Dot: Music-Making for the Chinese Market”. The speakers will also interact with the 300 participants from the schools, tertiary institutions and young working adults. Furthermore, our very own The AMPs will be performing for the crowd!
